Cherry Blossom Beanie

Cherry Blossom Beanie

Size: 19" Its a little loose!

Materials:

1/2 skein of Lion Brand Wool-eze (red)
1/2 skein of Cascade Pastaza (black)
1 set of #7/4.5mm double-point needles
1 16-inch US #7/4.5mm circular needle

Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker(s)

GAUGE:
20sts and 28 rows = 4 inches on 4.5 mm circular needle



Directions:
Cast on 81sts .Place marker and join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist.

Work in 2x1 Rib until work measures 1.1/2-2" Increase 3 stitch evenly. There should be 84sts now.

Join CC and work Rounds 1-28 of color chart (chart will be worked 3 times in each round).

Work 3 rows in MC.

Decrease Round 1: *k7, k2tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 2: *k6, k2 tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 3: *k5, k2 tog, rep from *
(Change to dpn's when its nessasary)
Decrease Round 4: *k4, k2 tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 5: *k3, k2 tog, rep from *
Decrease Round 6: K2tog all the way around
Knit one row even

Finishing:
Leaving tail, cut yarn and thread through darning needle. Run needle and yarn through all remaining stitches and pull tight. Run needle through the stitches at the top so that it's inside of beanie. Darn in all ends.

hi, thanks for the pattern! I tried it out twice! It did come out a little short and tight for an adult, though. I think i'll try for bigger needles and see if that helps. :)
