Shanty Virgin

I took Dick out ice fishing. He is a Shanty Virgin!!!! My dad usually takes me at least once a year. This year he is driving a semi-truck. We went to Metro Beach on Sunday. It was 19 degrees, I think? I dunno. It was sunny and cold.

Dick was my mule. I got him to drag the shanty with all our stuff out on to the lake. I was looking out for random ice holes. I was getting a little discouraged. They were all frozen over. (my auger sucks)We stopped, I sat down on the ice. These guys 2oo yards away started packing up. Wooo hoo... After they left, we snagged the holes. We were there from Noon til 5pm. No Nothing! We got Skunked!

I reheated Buscemi's Pizza Slices in aluminum foil for lunch. Drank hot cocoa & Coffee out of our thermos. It was nice. I did not get cold. No one fell in the lake. A very good waste of a Sunday.
