I finished my Squatty Side Kick bag last night!
Saturday night's has become Magic Card Nite for everyone in the house, but me. While they play into the wee hours of the night, I get to knit, spin and do whatever I want. Last night, I finished knitting my bag by 9:30. Woohoo... that means my mom is still up and I get to use her washing machine. Since we are an upper flat, we have no washer and dryer. Kinda sucks, but I'm dealing with it. This sucker felted in less than 1 cycle. I love it!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how fast this bag went from a cute pile of fluffy to an super cute felted bag.

i had to use a little bit of leftover black wool for the bottom of the bag and the center of the handle. The two yarns felted the same, so I guess I lucked out!

My new spindle came in from Butterfly Girl Designs. I'm in love with it.

I've only spun a little bit so far with it. I've only spun on a bottom whorl, so I'm re-learning. hehe
