1st Monkey sock

1st Monkey sock, originally uploaded by boizscareme.

One sock down, 1/2 a sock to go!
I am really glad I knit the leg of these socks at the same time (2-on-1). The heel to the toe just flew by!! I really love how these are turning out. I tryed it on last night and it fits nice and snug on my leg. I love the way this handdyed is comming out. There is no weird striping or pooling.

My sport weight yarn blanks came in last night. I will skein those up this weekend. I bought it with my leftover paypal money. The site I got it from seemed to be out of all sock weight yarn at the time. The toasty toes socks were sport weight. I really like those socks.

I bought the fitted knits book recently. Very cute stuff !!I like the raglan style.I am now going to rip my eco wool sweater out and make some thing from that book. I have to start making that cute little 2tone shug in there for my sis. She asked for the OSW about 2 years ago and I totally forgot about it. Her birthday is next month. Shrugs are a quick knit! I want another one too. I made the OSW with pattons merino in black and it's still nice and I wear it to work. I'd like to have the sleeves longer in the next one.

Cute socks, Coley! I like the yarn you're using. The little bits of yellow really stand out.
